The Institute of Computing and Digital Innovation (ICDI) was officially established in 2025, but its roots go back to the early years of the Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD), which was founded during the country’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021. In response to the growing demand for accessible, relevant, and future-ready education, KLD initially opened with two pioneering academic programs—one of which was the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS), a program that would later become a foundational part of the institute.
Over time, the institute underwent several name transitions, each reflecting a shift in direction and a deepening commitment to digital advancement. It began as the Institute of Information and Computing Sciences (IICS), then evolved into the Institute of Mathematical Application and Computing Sciences (IMACS). The recent transformation came in 2025 with the launch of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and the official adoption of the name ICDI which marked a bold step forward toward a more comprehensive and innovation-driven future.
Today, the institute stands as a dynamic academic hub for aspiring developers, systems thinkers, data explorers, and digital innovators, all committed to shaping the future through technology and creative solutions for the City of Dasmariñas.
